Course Summary

We recognise that each student has unique needs and goals, and so we have designed the course to be available at various levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced, to cater to different levels of knowledge and experience.

As part of our commitment to providing a holistic learning experience, we have partnered with local construction sites to offer work experience opportunities to our students.

These opportunities provide invaluable hands-on experience, exposure to industry professionals, and a chance to develop their skills in a real-world setting. We firmly believe that work experience is an essential part of preparing students for their future careers and are confident that these opportunities could lead to employment post 16.

How Construction Can Help Students

Transferrable Skills
Learning construction can help students build a range of transferable skills that can be applied in various industries and careers.

For example, construction requires teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, which are all valuable skills in any workplace. Additionally, construction involves planning, organizing, and managing resources effectively, which are essential skills for project management in any field.
